Product overview

KAMAZ steel coil is pre-painted steel with an aluminium-zinc-magnesium alloy coating (GLMAG technology), made to the Japanese standard JIS G3322. The magnesium in the coating gives markedly better corrosion resistance than ordinary galvanised sheet, particularly at cut edges and at scratches made during installation.

The Nippon Paint system runs 17 µm on the top face and 7 µm underneath, at 20 – 80% gloss, warranted 12 years against perforation and 5 years against fading in C1 – C2 environments. Phu Son uses KAMAZ as feedstock for panels and roofing, and supplies the coil direct to site.
