The engineering challenge of a factory building

Factory buildings account for the largest share of the thousands of projects Phu Son has supplied. The usual problem is not any single product but making the walls, ceiling and roof line up in module, accessories and schedule.

Phu Son supplies the complete envelope: interior and exterior wall panels, ceiling panels, insulated roofing and every steel and panel accessory. PU roofing can be made up to 33 m per panel within transport limits, and with the mobile line it is rolled on site for roofs up to 100 m long.

Specific technical requirements

  • Roof heat protection Kliplock 2-rib or 5-rib PU roofing panel with a 10-60 mm PU layer
  • Flame-spread resistance Flame-retardant EPS, rock wool or glass wool core depending on the fire rating required
  • Roof length Single-piece roofing panels up to 33 m; our mobile line rolls up to 100 m on site
  • Loads & column spacing Choose a steel thickness of 0.30-0.80 mm to suit the purlin spacing and local wind load
