Solutions for logistics centers & distribution warehouses

Building envelopes for long-span warehouses, smart warehouses and distribution centers — with chilled and frozen chambers where needed.

Long-span warehouses Single-piece panels up to 18 m Integrated chilled and frozen chambers

Solution overview

The engineering challenge of a logistics center

A logistics center differs from a factory in scale: the roof and wall areas are so large that every unnecessary joint multiplies into cost and leak risk. Many distribution warehouses also need a chilled or frozen chamber for goods that must be kept cold.

Phu Son supplied 10,000 m² of EPS exterior wall panels to the C&G smart warehouse at Dong Van II. On projects like this the answer is single-piece panels up to 18 m for the walls, wide-format roofing for the roof and PU/PIR panels for the cold chamber — all on one accessory system.

Specific technical requirements

  • Fewer joints Single-piece wall panels up to 18,000 mm; roofing up to 33 m, or 100 m when rolled on site
  • Large-area cladding walls EPS or PU exterior wall panel, 1,000 / 1,045 mm effective width
  • Refrigerated storage chambers 100-200 mm PU/PIR panels with cold storage sliding and hinged doors
  • Flame-spread resistance Flame-retardant EPS or a rock wool core for demanding areas
