Product overview

The glass wool – rock wool 5-rib roofing panel is used widely for roofs and infill walls on industrial factories, offices and civil buildings — particularly where appearance, durability, strong acoustic and thermal insulation and fire resistance all matter.

Two main lines:

  • Three-layer 5-rib glass wool panel with twin steel faces — a glass fibre core, leaning towards acoustic and thermal insulation.
  • Three-layer 5-rib rock wool panel with twin steel faces — a high-density mineral core, leaning towards fire resistance.

The panels are produced on a 5-rib line imported from Korea, in a closed process, with automatic cut-to-length programmed per order. Every panel is edge-folded; the twin steel-faced three-layer version has an anti-gap rebate and the underside skin can be increased from 0.30 mm to 0.45 mm for a longer life, a better finish and improved fire performance.

The 32 mm industrial rib with its wide base makes the panel more stable, quieter and better able to take impact, and it is very resistant to water overflowing the rib — which limits leaks and suits even low-pitch roofs being refurbished or replaced. After production the panels are banded into bundles about 1 – 1.2 m high for easy lifting, transport and delivery.

The EPS-core version of this same profile is on the The Javta EPS 5-rib roofing panel.

Key advantages

32 mm rib height to prevent overflow

A 32 mm industrial rib with a wide base makes the panel more stable, quieter, better able to take impact and far less likely to let water overflow the rib.

Sound insulation - thermal insulation - fire resistance

A glass wool or rock wool core gives strong acoustic and thermal insulation together with high flame and fire resistance.

An anti-gap rebate with an underside skin up to 0.45 mm

The three-layer twin steel-faced version has an anti-gap rebate; the underside skin runs from 0.30 mm up to 0.45 mm, which improves service life, appearance and fire performance.

High rigidity, quick to install

A rigid product that is easy to transport and saves on purlins and installation labour.

Suited to low-pitch roofs

A solution for low-pitch roofs being refurbished or replaced, with the finished thickness and length set by the order and by what can be transported and installed.
