Project overview
Phase 2 of the Hong Phuc glass plant at Dai Hanh, Hoan Long, Yen My, Hung Yen expanded the client’s glass production capacity. Phu Son supplied 8,000 m² of three-layer Kliplock 2-rib roofing.
A glass plant generates a lot of heat from the line, so the roof needs an insulation core to keep that heat from building up inside — and it has to stay watertight through the rainy season.
Project requirements
- A roof for a glass plant, where heat build-up inside had to come down.
- Reliable leak protection with fewer screw penetrations.
- Matched to the specification of the roof built in the earlier phase.
Phu Son solutions
- Supplied insulated three-layer Kliplock 2-rib roofing across the whole roof.
- Produced to the length of each roof bay to reduce joints.
- Delivered area by area to the roofing programme.
Results
- Supplied 8,000 m² of three-layer Kliplock 2-rib roofing.
- Phase 2 roof finished to match the existing building.
- Less radiant heat reaching the glass production line.
